Workshops are offered in various settings, including educational institutions, community organizations and institutions in Outaouais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We aim to achieve three central objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To equip the community in order for them to identify sexual assault, to receive disclosures and to support victims.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To transfer relevant information to deconstruct myths and prejudices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To stimulate critical thinking in order to stimulate commitment to social change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:2em\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"tahu has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#705ac3;font-size:40px\">&#8220;We are not born women: we become women&#8221; <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8211; Simone de Beauvoir<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n    \n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"prevention-section-2\" >\n    \n\n<div class=\"prevention-section-2-swiper swiper\" >\n\n    <div class=\"prevention-section-2-wrapper swiper-wrapper\">\n\n        \n\n<div class=\"prevention-section-slide swiper-slide\" >\n\n    \n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button text-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\">Next<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"subtitle wp-block-heading\"><span>01<\/span>Footprint Program<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEmpreinte &#8211; Agir ensemble contre les agressions \u00e0 caract\u00e8re sexuel\u201d is a prevention program for high school students, their parents and school personnel.<br><br>This program was developed jointly by the RQCALACS and Professors Manon Bergeron and Martine H\u00e9bert of the Department of Sexology at UQAM. In line with sexuality-related learning defined by the Quebec Ministry of Education, it includes 4 to 6 workshops offered in class, as well as training for school personnel and videos for parents. The goal of this program is to reduce social tolerance towards different forms of sexual violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Workshop 1 (secondary 2): Sexual assault<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshop 2 (secondary 2): Sexual consent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshop 3 (secondary 3): Disclosure and Support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshop 4 (Secondary 3): Youth Empowerment Against Sexual Assault<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshop 5 (Secondary 3): The Culture of Hypersexualization and Gender Stereotypes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshop 6 (Secondary 4): Sexual exploitation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"http:\/\/www.programmeempreinte.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">More info<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n    \n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"prevention-section-slide swiper-slide\" >\n\n    \n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button text-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\">Next<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"subtitle wp-block-heading\"><span>02<\/span>The #GCPT Program<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">#Garde\u00c7aPourToi is a prevention program on sexting and child pornography that was developed in partnership with the Service de Police de la Ville de Gatineau and the Procureur aux poursuites criminelles et p\u00e9nales du Bureau des affaires de la jeunesse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through our participation in this project, we hope to open a dialogue with teenagers, to allow them to develop their critical thinking skills and to question, and to understand their motivations, what influences them and the issues behind sending intimate images.\u00a0 Our workshop also allows them to explore positive and healthy alternatives and to learn about the resources available to them when the consequences of sexting appear, and to become engaged citizens and active witnesses to react to sexual violence. We have also developed an animation and intervention guide for school personnel.
